Our signature soft leather begins with nature itself. Each handbag is dyed using natural tannins drawn from bark, roots, wood, and fruit. A traditional, chemical-free approach to vegetable-tanned leather.
Every piece then goes through a careful drying and spin-drying process, softening the leather naturally to create the buttery, lived-in texture Cossu is known for.
Finally, our artisans hand-wax and iron each bag, sealing in colour, deepening the patina, and protecting the leather without synthetic treatments. Because every step is done by hand, no two bags are ever exactly alike - subtle variations in tone and texture are part of the process, giving each piece its own quiet personality.
